No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past
and looking forward to what lies ahead,I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
Philippians 3:13-14

Persevere until The End

What are you facing today? If you need someone to relate to, look at Paul’s life. The apostle of grace, who wrote 2/3 of the New Testament, dealt with issues so severe that one of those hardships could change the course of our lives forever. From being whipped 39 times and shipwrecked to being hungry and cold (2 Cor 11:23 – 27), Paul had the worst of life handed to him. But in the end, he told Timothy to endure Hardship as a Good soldier in Christ Jesus (2 Tim 2:3).  That is perseverance.

Why could he so boldly tell his apprentice Timothy to endure the hardship of life? Because Paul persevered. He relied on the grace of Jesus Christ to do what he was not able to do on his own. This is an excellent example of faith in God. Whenever we run into situations that are overwhelming for us, that is the time to have confidence in God’s strength and know that his grace is sufficient for us in every situation (2 Cor 12:9).

Whatever you are facing today, don’t allow the pressures of this world rob you of what God has for you.

Whether it’s the guilt of your past of the impossibility of your present, look to the future hills where your help comes from. God is able and more than willing to help you through the worst problem that you’re facing, great or small.
